With its origins in first the Dutch and then the British Navies, the Peacoat has been protecting its wearer from the elements since the 1800's.
Cropped shorter than a traditional overcoat for a more sporting look and double breasted for warmth when needed with an oversized lapel that can be popped-up to create a wind barrier.
The back collar is elegantly contrasted in dusky blue and a back belt accentuates the tailored aspect of the piece.
Ideal for travel, our Harrington is tailored in a water-resistant Cotton mix (59% cotton, 41% polyamide) from the Italian mill, Olmtex. Located in Como, their fabric is tough wearing, but highly luxurious in hand feel.
This highly versatile casual jacket is a great spring, summer addition and can be worn over a jacket in the fall.
